North Shore Hospital
The chaplains are available Monday to Friday from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm at North Shore Hospital. To contact a chaplain please call (09) 486 8920 and ask to speak to the 'on-call' chaplain.
Our Ahurewa Spiritual Centre is open to all visitors and is located on the third floor of the tower block.
Ahurewa opened in early December 2015, after three years of making. It is a base for our chaplains and a space for patients, whānau and staff to share. The centre caters for multiple faiths and people from all denominations are encouraged to use it.
It includes the Chapel of St Luke where a service is held every Sunday at 11.00am. A Catholic Mass is held on the first Sunday of each month and all are welcome.
The Spiritual Centre features a prayer room, a quiet room and two seminar rooms.
Waitakere Hospital
Our chaplains are available Monday to Friday from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm at Waitakere Hospital. To contact a chaplain please call (09) 837 8823 extn 6823.
Our beautiful Wairua Tapu, Chapel of the Holy Spirit, is open to all visitors and is located on the lower ground floor. It opened in 2019 and was funded through generous donations by our community. The facility caters for people of all faiths and features a prayer room and main chapel that open out to a sun-drenched deck and a landscaped courtyard.
A worship service is held every Sunday at 10.00 am in the chapel
