St John Ambulance Service
St John Ambulance Service will bring you into hospital in emergencies or, if your local doctor contacts them.
In some instances transport may be arranged to transport people to hospital for planned admissions.
When you are discharged from hospital you will generally need to organise your own transport home. If your condition requires the attention of trained ambulance officers the hospital doctor may authorise transport home via ambulance.
Ambulance Charges
You will have to pay for an ambulance, unless you are a Supporter Scheme subscriber. For more information visit the St John website.
For non-urgent St John support call 0800 4 AMBULANCE (0800 426 285)
