Child and Family Services

• The Child & Family Service is a free community based primary health service providing support for:
• children
• young people
• their families through a multidisciplinary health team

• The Child & Family team offers services to children 0-18yrs through two main service areas:

• School/pre-school health – health education, health promotion, hearing and vision screening, child protection, referral management, self referral school clinics, immunisation, epidemic response, specialist ear nursing
   
• Family support – parenting support and education, child protection, well child care

The service employs:

• Vision Hearing Technicians

• Ear Nurses
• Health Assistants
• Health Promoting Schools Advisors
